- MANDARIN LANGUAGE PROGRAMS:
Mandarin language, also called Northern Chinese, Chinese (Pinyin) Guanhua (“Officials’ language”), or (Wade-Giles romanization) Kuan-hua, the most widely spoken form of Chinese. Mandarin Chinese is spoken in all of China north of the Yangtze River and is the native language of two-thirds of the population.
This course is designed for those who want to learn Mandarin Language for social or business purposes. In this course, four basic language skills are emphasized such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Primary emphasis is placed on oral comprehension and conversation skills (speaking and listening) as well as reading and writing skills that can help students to communicate in the language within formal and informal contexts.
The Mandarin language course encompasses 4 levels as follows:
Beginner (40 Hours)
Elementary (36 Hours)
Intermediate (32 Hours)
Advanced (32 Hours)
